Anal Cunt at Roman's, Brockton, MA, December 08, 2006, soundboard recording, sort of.

I will start off by saying this is for the die-hard fan, and not someone who collects perfect soundboards only.  I originally intended to film this show, but security wouldn't allow me, even with the band bothering security about it.  Something about some lame '80's band setting fire to a club.  Somewhat fortunately, I had my BOSS BR-1180 Digital Recording Studio with me, and they allowed me to record from the soundboard, or mixer, if I could figure out how.  The guy in charge of the mixer was of little help, but he did explain to me that the only thing going through the mixer was the vocal mic.  We found another mic, lined it into the mixer, tested it out, and set it by the guitar amp.  Somehow, that mic ceased to work probably immediately after testing it, so what you have here is a nice clear recording of Seth, with the band mostly drowned out.  The vocals are also a bit distorted frequently, though that's normal for A.C. There's no guitar played until track 10 (except the tuning track), so the first bunch of songs (Picnic Of Love/Vaginal Jesus covers) are just vocals and drums, so that's kind of amusing.  Be astonished at being able to hear what Seth is actually singing.  The mic cut out during track 13, and I didn't put that and track 14 in the same track- sorry.  Also of note, Josh played a lefty guitar upsidedown for this show.  And I am the Craig mentioned at the beginning of track 24.

Lined from BOSS BR-1180 Digital Recording Studio with no effects applied into Audigy Soundblaster SE, disc created with Magix Music On Cd And Dvd program.  Disc converted to wav with Roxio Easy Media 8, flac with Flac Frontend.

The sound quality on this gets a B, sort of.  At points, it sounds amazing, and at other points, the distorted sound is kind of brutal.  I recorded this at a moderate level, so the distortion would be there no matter what I did to record from the mixer, unless we turned the vocal mic down, and nobody would have that!  Anyways, good luck listening to this.  It's either going to make you very happy, or very annoyed.  I had a good time, and always need something fun to do on December 8.  Enjoy - or not.
